The story of Dsquared2 is the story of a family, that of Canadian twins Dean and Dan Caten. Two icons of the fashion world but first of all two children who were forbidden to wear jeans. Jeans which later became their most successful item. Two fighting souls, who arrived from Canada to Milan in 1991 with a great desire for revenge and to bring out their vision and creativity. In Italy, their father's country of origin, after years of collaboration with important style offices and the presentation of some first collections, the two twins put themselves 100% on the line and created Dsquared 2 in 1996. An irreverent men's fashion brand that was created with the aim of bringing 'real clothes' to the catwalk, that is, the real clothes that people wear in everyday life, the clothes that they themselves loved to wear. Dsquared 2 means D squared. Not a passion for mathematics but a name that symbolizes the two of them, who always together release their creative power.
